Studio Dance Collective is a new and professional Dance School for aspiring dancers located in Mount Barker. Started in 2024 by dance enthusiasts, Caitlin Koutsikas and Bronnie Carman, the pair have over 20 years of dance experience each and come with a passion for providing dance training in a fun and uplifting environment.
The studio offers dance classes for ages 3 and up, and teaches a range of different styles including jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and more.
At Studio Dance Collective we want to help everyone fall in love with dance.

Our Mission at SDC is to not only offer professional dance training where our dancers build technique, style and teamwork, but to help foster important attributes such as;

Founder and Teacher
With over 16 years of dance teaching experience, Caitlin is a vibrant and compassionate teacher. She has experience teaching a range of dance styles from contemporary, jazz, cheerleading and hip hop from aged 3 to adulthood. Caitlin began dancing at 3 years of age, making it a lifelong passion.
As well as dance teaching, Caitlin also has a significant background in performing. Through dancing for SANFL teams, WNBL teams, and in Adelaide Fringe shows to list a few. Caitlin also had the opportunity to perform internationally across multiple cities within China on a variety of stages.
Beyond dance, Caitlin is a busy Mum of 3 (plus 2 fur babies). She is also a Performing Arts teacher within the primary school setting where she runs the choir and dance troupes across multiple year levels. Caitlin is dedicated to students Performing Arts education and making it enjoyable for all.
Caitlin is dedicated to helping all students grow in confidence, skill and passion. She believes that every student has a place and all should have the opportunity to shine!
Meet Caitlin
Founder and teacher
Bronnie is an out-going and passionate dance teacher with over 20 years of dance experience, 9 of those teaching students aged between 3 years and adults.
Bronnie began dancing at the age of 3 years old where she trained in many styles including jazz, hip-hop and pom cheerleading. Bronnie is a decorated performer having danced for the Adelaide Lightning WNBL team and the Adelaide 36ers NBL team. Bronnie has also travelled to China to perform with her team, where she was able experience performing on many stages across multiple different cities.
Outside of dance, Bronnie has a Bachelor of Psychology where she found her passion in child and youth development. She currently works as a full-time Recreation Coordinator and Youth worker at an Adelaide Boarding School for Indigenous youth. Bronnie is also a qualified remedial massage therapist and has enjoyed working across some of Adelaide's elite sporting teams.
Bronnie is passionate about helping others and is committed to seeing young people fulfil their potential, feel confident and follow their dreams. Bronnie's goal as a teacher is to pass on her knowledge and love for dance with young dancers.
